Borghese Abstract: acents We measured powdery mildew (PM) on grapevine leaves from different view angles. acents A multispectral image analysis algorithm for disease detection was applied. acents Sensitivity of automatic detection of symptoms is increased by large view angles. acents Detection of early-middle symptoms is dramatically improved by optimal view angle. acents Measuring canopy from angles of 40[degrees] to 60[degrees] can help field detection of PM initial foci.
